Coinbase has an option to "Send" your assets on the home page, you'll select that, select DESO as the asset, and paste your DESO wallet address in the "To" recipient. You can get copy this wallet address on the "My Wallet" page of Diamond. I would start with a small test transaction to make sure you've got it set up right, and then send the full amount you intend to. @zordon

Thanks for the heads up, this issue should now be resolved! @zordon

Hey all, we are aware of the issues regarding missing notifications on Diamond, and are working to resolve the issue asap. Sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. @zordon

Video NFTs that are under 12 seconds should autoplay @zordon

Gotta install the PWA, much better experience @zordon

Depends on how you break down the data, but generally it's about equal, with a slight skew toward desktop @zordon

Yep, definitely a possibility. Once the transfer transaction gets mined you hopefully should be good to go. You can check your transactions on openprosper to see when they get mined: https://www.openprosper.com/u/mcmarsh/transactions @zordon

It's possible that the DESO you sent yourself hadn't mined yet, and that prevented you from spending it on updating the profile. @zordon

Had the same thought! Very curious to see if they can figure this out, would be a huge win. @zordon

Would love to see what you can do building off of the Diamond code. Feel free to reach out - happy to help any way I can! @zordon

Strategy considerations aside, building DeSo as an L2 isn't particularly technically feasible, as the way it is able to store all of the data on chain stems from purposeful design decisions they were able to make as an L1. This blog post does a good job of explaining the technical limitations that were able to be avoided by creating a new L1 chain: https://www.deso.org/blog/web-3-will-not-be-built-on-smart-contracts @zordon

Love all this. One other possible revenue stream to consider is charging additional fees on specific transaction types on the node (i.e. posts, comments, diamonds, etc). This feature is supported out of the box by the DeSo backend repo, and could add up to a significant amount with enough traffic on the site. @zordon

Weโ€™re continuing to iterate and work on improving that retention issue, and hope to get to a point where new user retention is at a place where we really want to pour money in to user growth. @zordon

Hey all, wanted to give a heads up that weโ€™ll be temporarily removing Jumio/KYC from the site, and as a result the KYC starter DESO flow and referral flow. This is for a few reasons: - Even with KYC, the bot/new user ratio tended to skew much too heavily towards bots. - Having KYC on the site created quite a bit of confusion and mistrust. - The retention rate of new users wasnโ€™t sufficient to justify the onboarding cost (referral cost for referrer & referree + the cost of the Jumio scan itself). @zordon

Diamond is currently using the core node's verification map, as such we're unable to add our own verifications at this time. @zordon
