What is the number one item you woul I’m happy to present my last entry on @DeSoFeud contest and my replies to the final questions 🥰 Please support me friends and send me love, I so missed you ❤️ 1. What is the number one item you would save from your burning house? 2. Why would you save this Item? The number one item I would rush to save from my burning house is the very only thing my father left to me. And it is a bronze frog. My dad was a very honest and fair person. As a young man, he married a pregnant girl who wanted to commit suicide. It had always been considered a sin in our culture and, since my dad had a heart as big as a (burning) house and he had been knowing this girl since the childhood, as they grew up together in the same neighborhood, he decided to raise this woman’s baby as his own. The sad thing is that it was a marriage without love, even though he treated her well and took care of her. Several years later he met another woman, my mother and fell in love with her. At that time, he was the head of a department in the Ministry of Construction and took a big risk, but he decided to get a divorce anyway in order to marry my mother who had three children from her first marriage. We lived behind a closed curtain in the Soviet Union and a divorce would mean the end of a career, but my dad chose love. Then I was born and he didn’t care anymore, he finally had a child from his beloved woman and companion. So until Gorbachev came along, my father kept his job, and when the perestroika broke in his career took off but, unfortunately, not for long because at the age of 55 due to an incurable disease he passed away and left us. I could tell many stories about my father, but it would be like prolonging the digression. I just want to say he was the first person who encouraged me to become an artist and did everything to realize my dream. The point is that I love my father and I still miss him so much. That’s why the bronze frog is the number one item I would save, because it belonged to him. It is a prize he won at a chess tournament. Daddy wasn’t just a kind, honest person, but also a very clever as well as spiritually evolved, he was my hero, it seemed to me that no matter what question you asked him, he always knew the answer. Many years have passed since he died though the flame of the love that connects us is still alive.
