The reason I'm a little stresses is for the OGs. They've been here for 200 days, some longer than 250, and many of them have been dreaming about the day Coinbase happened. They've posted We Are Going To The Moon over and over, so that it's been an expectation for many months. Now, two days into the launch, prices are where they were beforehand. I fear this will be the final straw for some of them and the $DeSo community will lose many of the evangelists who got us to this point. There's already talk of a split. 100 to 1 or 1,000 to 1. As if this would be the rocket fuel needed to make the moon shot a reality. Dreamer: If ONLY the price was lower, everyone would buy it. Meeks: Everyone will buy it, when the DAU (Daily Active Users) gets higher. This is a great place. I believe that as more and more folks come onto the platform to be social, and they see it the way I do, they will fall in love with these nodes, too. When I coach up new authors, the question they need to answer is, "What does your ideal reader look like?" What age, gender, world view, ect, do you imagine the super fans who read your books will have? So, I ask YOU, my new friends on $DeSo, what do you imagine the average user will look like when the platform reaches a tipping point? When there are 1 million users, will they be at all similar to the early adopters, have Master Degree levels of understanding about crypto, or will they be folks who are looking for a new place without all the stuff on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, that they hate? The demographic of the future is NOT the demographic of the present. How can we reach the people we need and keep the people we have? Like always, the answer is... ...cat pictures. The whole, "pants optional" daily life suits me. I didn't want a job. But THIS is my dream job and for 15-days now, I've been working nearly non-stop. As such, I've not been posting nearly as often as when I was spending 10-hours per day here dishing out the minutia of my life. My LOVE LOVE LOVE for $DeSo remains strong.
